ConTact C.A.R.E is a method of releasing pressure and shock from bone, caused by surprise impacts. The cause of these impacts can be from everyday minor knocks, childhood mishaps all the way to extreme sports and car accidents. These impact points also known as “Finchlocks” This can have a flow on effect to other parts of the body, including soft tissue.  Our Flinchlock Release Method releases this pressure and allows normal function to return.

My Story

In 2015, I sustained a back injury during a rowing regatta that left me in persistent pain for over a year. The injury prevented me from participating in my beloved sport, lifting weights, and even performing simple tasks like tying my shoes without discomfort. Despite trying various therapies such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, and yoga, as well as consulting with a physiotherapist who treated Olympic-level rowers, I only experienced temporary relief before the pain and tension returned.

After a year of little progress, my coach suggested I see Dale at Contact C.A.R.E Ngatea, located about a two-hour drive from Auckland, New Zealand. After navigating a lengthy waitlist, I finally had a session with Dale. To my surprise, instead of focusing on my back, Dale worked on my ankle and hip. Remarkably, when I stood up from the table after the session, my back pain had vanished. A follow-up session confirmed the relief, and my back has remained pain-free ever since.

Motivated by my own transformative experience, I pursued foundational courses under Dale and other instructors. Today, equipped with knowledge in biomechanics and anatomy from university studies, coupled with years of coaching rowing and personal training, I integrate a unique approach to the therapy. Contact C.A.R.E's straightforward method has proven effective in bringing comfort and alleviating pain across various areas.

This journey not only allowed me to return to competitive rowing and resume the activities I love but also inspired me to help others. Having treated hundreds of individuals, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact of Contact C.A.R.E. on improving quality of life and restoring mobility.
